About Wildfiresmoke
Purpose
Wildfiresmoke.ca brings together public PM2.5 measurements, official indices, alerts, smoke forecasts and wildfire context to make Canadian information easier to reach.
Limits
The site provides general information. It is not an emergency service, a health diagnosis, or proof that a particular fire caused smoke at a location.
Operation and independence
The site is independently operated and is not sponsored, endorsed or operated by the government agencies whose public data it republishes.
Canada and the United States
Wildfiresmoke.ca is the bilingual Canadian edition. wildfiresmoke.app is the US edition; they share code while retaining country-appropriate sources, domains and deployments.

To report an error or request a correction, email contact@wildfiresmoke.ca. In an emergency, follow local and provincial authorities.
